Mo in New York

Scott gave me the most wonderful Valentine's weekend...a weekend with the girls! I flew up to spend a few days with my BFFs in Manhattan. It is Valentine's Day every day here at home - I was so lucky to get to spend mine with some other loved ones.

Here we are at the Boathouse in Central Park.

Rachel's Half-Birthday

In Primer, since so many birthdays are in the summer - we celebrate Half-Birthdays. Here is Rachel's big day at school.

Rebecca at Greek Week

Rebecca has been studying Greek Mythology in school. To put an end to the topic she celebrated with Greek week which included a Greek play - Toga and all. I did not make the play but Scott got a few shots.

Family Science Night

The Primer Class put on an incredible Family Science night this year. Every project was about an endangered animal. Rachel did her report on the Gastric Brooding Frog - here she is dressed up like a scientist.

WELCOME KULA! Well, the Thompkins Family has gone and done it! Between our Makena, Jason's new pup Hana, and this new one for my parents Kula, we are up to our eyeballs in puppy training.

Winter Concert

Rebecca has been learning how to play the flute. She really has become quite passionate about it. This week we were lucky enough to attend a concert to hear her progress...she played beautifully. Need to work just a little bit on the way she was sitting, but all in good time. We were honored to have Grandma Linda in attendance with us!

Learning to be a Lady

Rachel had an etiquette class this month with her Daisy troops. It was quite a sight. All the Daisies were to get dressed up in their finest. No small feat in this day and age! Rachel learned how to engage in conversation, thank someone for coming to her party, sit properly at a table and use all the utensils, and finally my favorite - how to write a thank you note! Let's see if it sticks! So far Rebecca has had to go through this class twice and counting!

Merry Belated Christmas

Sorry it has been so long since the last post! It was a busy Holiday Season.

We had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. The girls were and still are a twitter with new gifts and all the trappings of the Holidays. We added a new member to our family...Makena - a 5 month old male Shitz-Tsu. So far we are all smitten - except maybe Sarge!
